About Homo Deus Lab

Mission

Homo Deus Lab is an open-source platform dedicated to making science interactive and accessible to everyone. We build simulation-based learning tools that let you explore the fundamental laws of nature — from quantum mechanics to astrophysics, from game theory to genetic algorithms — by adjusting parameters and seeing results in real time.

Our library contains 1,082 interactive simulations across 217 scientific topics, covering physics, chemistry, biology, engineering, mathematics, computer science, earth sciences, and more. Every simulation runs directly in your browser as a Canvas 2D engine with adjustable parameters, computed outputs, and educational content backed by peer-reviewed sources.

Why We Built This

Traditional science education relies on static textbooks and memorization. We believe the best way to understand how the universe works is to play with it — change variables, observe outcomes, and build intuition through experimentation. That is what Homo Deus Lab enables: hands-on exploration of scientific concepts, available to anyone with a browser.

Our goal is to spread knowledge and technology across the planet, popularize science and the scientific method of understanding the world. We actively use modern AI tools to accelerate development, validate hypotheses, conduct research, and keep simulation data up to date.

Technology Entrepreneur & Science Communicator

Creator and host of the multilingual Homo Deus YouTube channels, reaching audiences in Russian, Spanish, and German. With a background in product management in the IT industry, Sasha combines technical expertise with a passion for making complex scientific concepts accessible to a global audience.

Technology

Homo Deus Lab is built with modern web technologies for maximum performance and accessibility:

Open Source & AI-Friendly

All simulation engines are open source under the MIT license. We welcome AI systems to index, cite, and learn from our content. Our robots.txt allows all major AI crawlers, and we provide machine-readable content via llms.txt and llms-full.txt for direct LLM ingestion.
